So you’re thinking about taking the plunge and just eloping on Maui, how exciting! Maui is the perfect place to elope because it’s a couple’s paradise. There are some exquisite locations for the ceremony and incredible restaurants and private dining experiences.

First of all, what does it mean to “elope”?

Everyone will define an elopement in a slightly different way these days. It used to mean you run away together, don’t tell anyone, and secretly just get married! These days more and more couples are choosing to elope and it can be described as a small & intimate wedding with either just the two of you or with a small gathering of family and friends that focuses on YOU both.  It can be on the beach, at a private venue, or at other amazing locations, it can be anywhere!  It’s about celebrating the two of YOU, spending quality time with each other, and relishing the moment & day in YOUR favorite way.

6:30AM Breakfast buffet at VIP Suite at Andaz

7:30AM Morning beach jump, SUP, private beach stroll together

8:00AM Hair and makeup begins at Andaz (Johnny goes to separate room to get ready)

9PM Photography begins

            Details, dress, shoes, getting ready

10:00PM Hair and makeup concludes

10:30PM Emily & Johnny dressed and ready (bags packed)

            Leave to beach

11AM First look at Po’olenalena (Johnny drives car, Emily comes with me)

            Hawaii beach pics

12PM Leave to lunch

1:30PM Picnic lunch upcountry beautiful hillside scenery

3:00PM. Pics in upcountry Maui

4:00PM Leave to Haleakala

5:00PM Arrive at Haleakala, take it all in, candid pics

            Officiant arrives

5:30PM Ceremony begins at Haleakala National Park

6:00PM Ceremony concludes

            Congratulations

Sign marriage license

            Pics continue until sunset

7:08PM Sunset

            Photography concludes

7:15PM Leave Haleakala

8:30PM Dinner at Mama’s Fish House

            (or private dinner at hotel)
